For spearfishing we recommend a low volume, black silicone mask. This is a very reliable, comfortable type of mask to wear and because it is black, it won't reflect light or allow it in.

Which snorkel do you need?
For kids & adults wanting to snorkel or get a feed of shell fish and crays only, a PURGE snorkel is good for this. It is the easiest to clear.
For spearfishing we recommend a NON-PURGE. A purge makes too much noise and bubbles when you clear it and will scare away any fish around you while hunting. Having a plain tube snorkel, you clear the water behind you as apposed to in front of you.
