Gemma, Darren’s daughter has done her fair share of spearfishing.
She has won the Junior Women’s Spearfishing National champs, was 2013 & 2015 New Zealand Women’s National Champ & has represented NZ in Interpacific competitions in Australia, Tahiti & New Caledonia. Gemma was the 2017 World Freshwater Women’s spearfishing Champion & she also holds numerous NZ women’s spearfishing records. She is an integral part of Wettie Spearfishing & Darren’s ‘Right Hand Man’ running the business with dad day to day.
