How much does shipping cost?

We have flat rates depending on the size & weight of your order. You can use our ‘Shipping Calculator’ during the checkout to check the rate.

Shipping costs are charged in the currency of your delivery address.
e.g USA shipping addresses will be charged in USD

 

Do we offer ‘Click & Collect’?

Yes, you can select ‘store pick up’ during the checkout process & collect your order free of charge from our Auckland mega store
Click & collect orders are normally ready within 1-2 hours of placing your order during opening hours

 

How long does shipping take?

New Zealand: 1-4 working days
Australia:  3-7 working days
USA & Canada: 5-10 working days

There may be delays on delivery for larger, oversized items like long spearguns or float boats

 

Which shipping companies do we use?

New Zealand: Courier Post/NZ Post for standard items. Toll for oversized items (float boats, long spearguns)
Australia: NZ Post handed over to Australia Post or DHL
USA: NZ Post handed over to USPS
Canada: NZ Post handed over to Canada Post

 

What services do we use & what do we do if a parcel goes missing?

For New Zealand wide deliveries we use NZ Post as well as Toll depending on the size of the parcel.
All New Zealand orders have an option of signature required or not signature required delivery. If you select standard shipping which is not signature required, we do not offer insurance on delivery. This means if your parcel is marked as ‘delivered’ to the address you have provided & the courier company can provide confirmation of this via GPS coordinates but you are unable to locate the parcel then we will endeavour to help with an investigation but can not offer any compensation for missing or stolen parcels. We strongly recommend choosing a signature required service so you are personally able to receive delivery safely.

All international (Australia, USA, Canada) parcels are sent on a signature required service

It is entirely the receiver’s responsibility to track their parcel once it has been shipped from Wettie & be available for delivery. If a courier marks a parcel as ‘attempted or unsuccessful’ delivery, & the receiver makes no effort to rearrange delivery then any return or re-delivery charges will be passed onto the receiver or taken from their refund.

 

 

Are there any international shipping restrictions?

We are unable to ship chilly bins or lead weights internationally.
USA/Canada: We are unable to ship large float boats, shafts or spearguns

 

Do Wettie charge GST on orders sent internationally?

No. AUD, USD & CAD pricing on our website excludes New Zealand tax/GST. You will not be charged tax in New Zealand when shopping on our website. You may however, be charged tax on your purchase upon entry into your country. See ‘International import fees’ below.

All New Zealand purchases in NZD include GST in the product price on our website.

 

Are there any international import fees?

You may be charged duty or import fees when receiving your order internationally, especially if your order exceeds $1000 NZD, $900 AUD or $600 USD. This is something we can not estimate and have no control over as it varies with each country. Please contact your local customs office for more accurate & up to date information on this. If your parcel requires payment of customs duty, this is the responsibility of the receiver to pay. Once the parcel is processed and marked with customs duty owed, the customs office will demand this no matter whether it remains internationally or returned to Wettie in New Zealand & will be taken from the credit or refund if the parcel is rejected by the receiver and returned to Wettie.
We strongly encourage our USA customers to do extensive research before shopping internationally due to the ever changing situation with tariffs. Your order WILL incur tariffs/charges and this is unavoidable. We sell products manufactured in the following countries: New Zealand, Australia, Italy, China, Thailand, Pakistan & Taiwan

Duties, Taxes & Refusal Policy

1. Duties & Taxes

  • All international orders are shipped on a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis.

  • This means import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees are the responsibility of the customer (importer of record) and are not included in the product or shipping price at checkout.

  • Your local customs authority or carrier will contact you directly to arrange payment before delivery.

2. Refusal to Pay Duties or Taxes

  • If you refuse to pay import duties or taxes, or refuse delivery for any reason, the shipment will either:

    1. Be returned to us at your expense, or

    2. Be abandoned or destroyed by customs (no refund issued if this occurs).

3. Return Shipping Costs for Refused Shipments

  • If your order is returned to us because you refused to pay duties/taxes, you are responsible for all return shipping costs, plus any carrier handling or customs charges billed to us.

  • These costs will be deducted from your refund.

4. Refund of Original Shipping Cost

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable for orders refused at delivery or returned due to unpaid duties/taxes.

5. Refund of Product Price

  • Once the returned goods are received and inspected, we will refund the product price minus:

    • Return shipping cost

    • Any customs or carrier charges billed to us

    • Any applicable restocking fees (if stated elsewhere in our policy)

6. Non-Returnable Situations

  • If the goods are abandoned or destroyed by customs due to refusal of payment, no refund will be issued.

 

 

We endeavour to use the quickest & most reliable shipping company available. By signing the courier docket you are confirming you received your package in satisfactory condition. If you are unsure, do not sign for your parcel & check the contents. For overseas parcels, the receiver will be responsible for any fees or charges when it arrives in your country. All payments made on our website are through a secure payment gateway Windcave or PayPal
Wettie do not take responsibility for shipping delays caused by freight companies that are out of our control
